Link in bio > Unique Quilt Patterns Section There is the saying about practicing something for 10,000 hours to master a skill, and I'm not sure if I have hit 10,000 hours of quilting yet but I have definitely spent many, many, many hours practicing. After finishing my last quilt of the "Megaforce Adventure Mobile", I realized I have made three different projects of this airplane across 5 years. Interesting comparing the 3 quilts. Goes to show that it really is all about practice! Latest airplane quilt features @megaforceadventuremobile. I tried a new technique with the sky, microquilting the background to show the clouds in negative space, and then added lines for shadows. I like to stay branded when I quilt the Megaforce Adventure Mobile. 747 pieced! Now debating whether to add a border or not…. Homestretch! 747 is getting close. A few examples of photos that became quilts. It finally looks like a plane! The first 3 rows looked a little goofy until the wings were stitched up. Portland Frog all quilted!!
